Privacy Policy

Who we are
Tomato Time Focus (Chinese name: 茄时番茄钟; shown under a localized name in each language) is a Pomodoro focus timer for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, developed by huanyong zhou, an individual developer.
Data we collect
None. The app does not send any information to us or to any third party. It contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services, and it does not make network requests.
Data stored on your device
To work, the app saves the following only inside its own storage on your iPhone:
- Focus sessions (start and end times, duration, tag, and any notes you write)
- Tags, achievements and your settings
We cannot see or access this data. It is included in your device backups (iCloud or computer) according to your own iOS settings.
Backups you export
If you use “Export Backup”, the app opens the iOS save dialog and you choose where the file is saved (for example On My iPhone or iCloud Drive in the Files app). Restoring a backup reads a file you pick, on your device.
Notifications, Live Activities, motion and Apple Watch
- Notifications are scheduled locally on your device to tell you when a session or break ends. No push server is involved.
- Live Activities / Dynamic Island show the running timer on your Lock Screen; they are generated on your device.
- Motion (optional) lets the tomatoes in the jar roll when you tilt your phone. Motion readings are used instantly on the device and are never stored or sent anywhere.
- Apple Watch: if you use the watch app, focus sessions and your timer settings are passed directly between your Apple Watch and your paired iPhone using Apple’s on-device connection. Nothing goes through our servers; we have none.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. Since it collects no data, it collects no data from children.
Deleting your data
Go to Me → Erase All Data in the app, or simply delete the app. Both remove everything the app has stored.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
